Ospitalita' Rurale Castel D'arno

In the middle of the beautiful umbrian valleys and hills, and with an outstanding panoramic view, between Perugia and Assisi, Castel dArno is a completely restored 13th century building, surrounded by incredible rose plants and olives trees, in the middle of which we built a panoramic swimming pool.
The country house is located in a strategic position near many cities of particular tourist interest (Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto, Todi, Spello, etc).
Moreover we are just minutes away from the Perugia (S. Egidio) Airport, that has recently become a port of call for international lines low cost (Ryanair, etc).
Castel dArno is located just 12km from the historic center of Assisi and 13km from that of Perugia. S. Egidio Airport 12 km.
A few minutes by car will take you to the most important art centers of Umbria:
S. Egidio regional airport 7 km, Perugia - 10km, Assisi - 12km, Gubbio - 30km, Spello - 20km, Spoleto - 35km, Todi - 35km, Rome 170km, Florence 150km, Siena 90km, and only 25km from Trasimeno Lake.

Today the country house, after the restoration jobs, has 5 characteristics apartments of several metratures and much comfortable, all with sight on the splendid view of umrian valleys. They are furnished with antique furniture, and have separate bathroom, equipped kitchenette, linen and heating. Large parking inside the enclosure.

For our guests there is a room with two washing-machines (free use). And moreover it's possible to have use of the wide garden and the swimming pool for pleasant moments of relax.
Who wants to make “pizza”, can use a magnificent firewood furnace situated in our characteristic courtyard. Who prefers BBQ, we have a big one in the garden.
For our little guests we have a nice play area located in the garden.
If you need an internet connection, in our reception is always connected to a PC that you can consult for free.
Near Castel dArno there are two restaurants where its possible to have moderately priced meals and taste the typical Umbrian cuisine. This is the ideal place for those who enjoy meeting others in a friendly, relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.
In addition to hospitality, you will also receive precious advice on how to make your stay pleasant and interesting.
On request it’s possibile to have rich breakfast (euro 6, 50 for person/per-day), with home made cakes and jams.

The building is divided in 5 nicely decorated and comfortable apartments, with kitchenette and private bathroom.
They are:
THE CUCINONE apartment: located on the first floor, much luminous, is a large room of mq. 40 with a very high ceiling, with characteristic garret and a romantic balcony that points out on the garden and from which enjoy one fantastic view. It consists of a double-bed, a garret with 2 single beds, private bathroom with window, equipped kitchenette.
L'ORTO apartment: located on the ground-floor, it faces of splendid olive-grove. With independent entrance, it has a private small courtyard for pleasant dinner in the open air. It is a characteristic apartment of mq. 40, furnished with antiques furnitures and it consists of a double-room with also a single bed, separate bathroom, living-room with equipped kitchenette.
It can be utilized also for disabled persons.
THE CORTILE apartment: located on the first floor of the country house, it faces the characteristic courtyard. Much luminous and panoramic, it is an apartment of mq. 65, furnished with antiques furnitures and it consists of a double-room, another room with 2 single beds (on request can become another double-room), separate bathroom, living-room with divan double-bed and equipped kitchenette.
THE ULIVI apartment: located on the first floor of the country house, it offers to a splendid sight on the wide garden of olives and roses, where the swimming pool is placed. It is a characteristic apartment of mq. 50, furnished with antiques furnitures, and it consist of a double-bed, a room with 2 single beds, private bathroom, equipped kitchenette.
SUBASIO suite: Located on the second floor of our country house which boasts, among other things, a beautiful view of Monte Subasio, on whose slopes is located the famous city of Assisi.
The apartment is approximately 170m² in size and comprises several absolutely special rooms. It is furnished with antique furniture and it consists of two double-room, a large room with 5 single beds (or, on request, a double bed and 3 single beds), a garret with divan double-bed, 2 characteristic private bathrooms (of which one with a large bathtub), a living-room with TV and DVD. The large kitchen (50m²) is very fine with fireside, dishwasher and a large panoramic window.
All the apartments are fully equipped to make your holiday as pleasant and as comfortable as possible.
The price includes water expenses, gas expenses (kitchen), electricity expenses, final cleaning. Moreover bath and bed linen, and the free use of the swimming pool in the summer are included in the price. Heating expenses (approximately euro 1, 50 per hour for IL CUCINONE, L’ORTO, GLI ULIVI apartments, euro 2, 00 for IL CORTILE, euro 3, 00 for IL SUBASIO) are not included in the winter.
