Hotel Ripagrande

A beautiful XV century palace, once residence of Counts Beccari-Freguglia, transformed into an elegant 4-stars hotel. A skilful renovation has maintained the ancient columns, arches, marbles and tapestries. Forty rooms, of which 20 are Junior Suites, furnished mainly in a pleasant classic style and endowed with the most modern of comforts.

RIPAGRANDE HOTEL is located in the heart of the historical centre of Ferrara, declared as "Heritage of mankind" in 1995 by UNESCO, within easy reach of the Cathedral and the Estensi family's castle. It is situated in a quiet pedestrian area to which the guest may gain access in any event for the arrival and the departure. The Guests may park the car on the street near the hotel with a parking ticket available at the Reception for the price of Euro 3, 00 and valid 24 hours from the moment of the arrival. A small private hotel garage, at payment, is also available, the reservation is required.

The RIPARESTAURANT offers, in a cosy and refined atmosphere, the best of typical local and regional dishes. Two magnificent inner Renaissance courtyards complete the setting and may be used, weather permitting, for outdoor banquets and meals. The hotel is furthermore equipped for small and medium sized meetings and may propose guided sightseeing tours around Ferrara and surroundings.
