Overview

On a gentle hill of olive trees overlooking the panorama of the city of Lucca, stands the church of St. Andrew, an ancient Romanesque church built in the eleventh century, along the historic Via Francigena. We have three double or triple bedrooms, all furnished with antiques and fine. Breakfast is served in the lounge and in summer on the panoramic veranda overlooking Lucca.
The marble bathroom with shower Toilets are adjacent to the rooms.
At the request of our guests, the hostess offers cooking classes on Lucca and Tuscan cuisine.
For lovers of the outdoors is the opportunity to enjoy pleasant excursions in the green hills of Lucca. Our olive grove, consisting of about two hundred old trees, houses small oasis where live animals fenced backyard.

Location & Transportation

The Parish of St. Andrew is not only a great place to regenerate and to explore the beauties of Lucca and Tuscany, but also the place where, walking and hiking trails through ancient olive groves and chestnut trees, within minutes of beautiful destinations, and unexpected landscapes such as the splendid Certosa Farneta, or characteristic villages of Maggiano, and Formentale Nozzano Castle. By car you can quickly reach the most attractive cities of Tuscany, The Parish of St. Andrew is only 8 km from the historic center of Lucca, 20 km from Pisa, 15 km from the beaches of Viareggio and 85 km from Florence. The favorable geographic position also allows you to easily reach the cities of Liguria and Emilia Romagna.
