 | Pomelia Holiday Houses are on the Lungomare Andrea Doria in Marina di Ragusa in Sicily at 100 metres from the beach and at walking distance from the restaurants and the shops in the centre.
The apartments are all recently built (August 2007) and are part of a refined residence. All details have been taken care of to offer our customers the maximum comfort. | | There are three kinds of accommodation:
Apartment with garden
65 square metres, ideal for 4/6 people (up to 8 beds)
The apartment is on the ground floor, with a garden and a veranda protected from the sun, furnished in such a way that meals can also be taken outdoors.
Three bedrooms: one double room and two twin rooms.
The kitchen-living room, complete with gas cooker and oven, washing machine, fridge and freezer, is fitted with a sofa bed. Two bathrooms with shower.
Apartment with veranda
55 square metres, ideal for 2/4 people (up to 6 beds)
The apartment is on the first floor, with a veranda protected from the sun, furnished in such a way that meals can also be taken outdoors.
Two bedrooms: one double room and one twin room. The kitchen-living room, complete with gas cooker and oven, washing machine, fridge and freezer, is fitted with a sofa bed. Two bathrooms with shower.
Apartment for two persons
The apartment is on the ground level with a 30 sqm garden and a 10 sqm shadowy fully equipped veranda so to enjoy pleasant meals and relax outdoor. It is provided with outdoor shower too.
It consists of a double bedroom, living room with kitchen corner and bathroom with shower.
At your disposal: electric cooker, oven, fridge and freezer, TV as well as an added single bed (sofa bed). | | All apartments are air-conditioned with a centralised hot-cold air conditioning system, and are fitted with made to measure designer furniture. They are equipped with TV.
Reserved parking space within the residence area, one for apartment, is available. | | Rates include:
- weekly cleaning of the apartment (Saturdays)
- kitchen equipment (pots, pans, and dishes)
- sheets changed weekly
- towels and bathmat changed weekly
- utilities (water, electric, gas)

Pomelia Holiday Houses are in the “baroque” heart of the Val di Noto, part of the Unesco World Heritage List. You can easily reach Ragusa Ibla, Scicli, Modica, Noto and all the other locations of the “Commissario Montalbano” TV series.
Marina di Ragusa (Sicily)
Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, this place has a typical Mediterranean climate, almost practically pleasant for more than 8 month a year and it is one of the most equipped and claimed seaside place in south-eastern Sicily. Every year thousands of tourists and visitors spend their holidays in this locality, which is mainly appreciated for its very fine golden sandy beaches.
It's also possible to go on an excursion to the mount Etna (135 km), to the “Valle dei Templi” in Agrigento (139 km), and you can also reach easily Siracusa (106 km) and Taormina (182 Km), both famous for their beautifull Greek theatres. The Port of Pozzallo is not far (32 km), and it has many links with Malta by ferries. | | Directions | BY CAR
From Fontanarossa Airport in Catania follow the road signs to Tangenziale Autostrade; then get into the motorway A18 in the direction of Siracusa; after 10 km take the exit to Lentini-Carlentini on the right and continue towards Ragusa. Follow the ss. 514 and go straight on until you reach Ragusa. Then turn right following the direction to Marina di Ragusa and take the sp. 25; Marina di Ragusa is 22 km far from there.
When you reach Marina di Ragusa, at the first roundabout go towards Donnalucata going through Via Amm. Luigi Rizzo until you reach the second roundabout; go straight on (you can see Di Meglio Supermarket on your right) until you get to the third roundabout, then make a half turn and go down Via Caboto until you reach the Lungomare Andrea Doria. After that turn left and go straight on for about 500 metres.
After you passed The Baia del Sole Hotel, that is located on the left and is well signposted, turn immediately on the left into Via 456. Go straight on for 100 mt and stop on the right opposite an automatic gate that gives access to the complex of holiday homes.
