Nuoro is a town and province in central Sardinia (Italy), located at the slopes of Mount Ortobene.
Overlying the central mountains in a panoramic position, Nuoro is the most typical Sardinian city has been called "the Sardinian Athens" due to the large number of poets, writers, and intellectuals that here took part in the early years of 20th century. It is the hometown of Grazia Deledda, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1926

Beaches
