Overview |
 | In the historical centre of the city, inside the quarter of the Kalsa, just opposite Villa dellAlloro, our bed&breakfast is different from the others. We have called it b&b&arts: in the rooms and the common spaces you will find paintings, photographs and sculptures of contemporary Sicilian artists. You will find not only well-furnished rooms, where every colour tones in with the idea the room expresses, but also wide common spaces and a luminous courtyard where breakfast is served in summer and where you can spend your time chatting and relaxing. | | Every room has: - air conditioning - heating - bathroom with shower - LCD TV set - Internet point A wide hall for the breakfast and a kitchen with a refrigerator are also available for our hosts | | We have rooms with 2, 3 or 4 beds |

La Kalsa - The quarter built during the Muslim domination was the fortified zone where the Emir lived. Today it still has the Arab name (al halisah, the elect one, the pure one). The quarter has recently been rediscovered after years in which it was completely neglected; people are now moving here from the residential but anonymous quarters of the modern part of the city. The quarter is remarkable not only for its history, but also for its restaurants and the stalls where you can taste typical Palermo dishes The heart of the quarter is around Piazza Kalsa, but the quarter includes corso Vittorio Emanuele, the Promenade (Foro Italico), via Lincoln. | | Directions | in historical center of city: near museums, churchs and other important things to see. | | Transportation | nearest: rail station, bus terminals for all destinations | | Airport | palermo falcone and borsellino airport, 30 kms |
